It’s a Dog World in Carrboro

Had my roommate decided not to purchase her 90-pound hound from the animal shelter last fall, I would have never discovered one of Carrboro’s neatest spots for people and canines alike. Turns out the people of Carrboro are fond of their dogs.

Move over Tigers and Wildcats, this new kitty has claws.
Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools announced Friday the new colors and mascot for Carrboro High School, the district’s newest school slated to open in August.

DSI festival to draw 450 performers

In just a few weeks, Carrboro’s population is going to temporarily increase.
The Dirty South Improv Festival will bring about 450 performers from across the nation to Carrboro from Feb. 6 until Feb. 11.
