On Point #1: Millennium Fountain

The Millennium fountain stands outside the Century Center. Located at 100 N. Greensboro St., The Century Center opened March of 2001. Seven months later, Mayor Mike Nelson dedicated the new fountain thanks to a generous donation from David Kitzmiller and Carole Stemkowski.

The Century Center houses The Recreation and Parks Department where everything from weekly contra dancing to digital photography classes take place. On the main floor, The Carrboro Police Department answers questions or concerns about issues such as animal control, public safety, and town laws.
The Carrboro Cybrary, a branch of the Orange County Public Libraries, is a Cyber Library with public computer stations, a copier, and a fax machine.
